Höganäs is the perfect starting point when you want to explore the Kulla Peninsula

(also known as Kullabygden, Kullaberg, and Kullen) and its surroundings.

The peninsula is a fantastic place that offers a wide range of activities and attractions.

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

Höganäs is located in northwestern Skåne, approximately 25 minutes by car from Helsingborg.

It's easy to reach by car from major cities like Gothenburg (about 2.5 hours),

Stockholm (about 6.5 hours), or Copenhagen (about 1.5 hours).

If you prefer public transportation, there are regional buses to Höganäs running several times per hour

from both Helsingborg and Ängelholm. Helsingborg can be reached by bus/train/boat,

and Ängelholm can be reached by bus/train/flight.

For the adventurous:

Challenge yourself by climbing the dramatic cliffs and enjoy the breathtaking views of the sea and landscape.

Explore folklore and mythology by searching for the "Kullamannen," a mysterious figure said to reside in Kullaberg. In November, you can participate in the Kullamannen cross-country race with the finish line in Mölle.

If you love water sports, take the opportunity to surf when visiting the Kulla Peninsula. Surfers from all over Northern Europe and the world come here.

Rent a sea kayak and paddle along the coast to discover hidden coves and beautiful rock formations.

For hiking enthusiasts, Kullaleden SL5 is a perfect choice. Explore the beautiful nature and enjoy the diverse landscapes.

Take a delightful horseback ride through the picturesque countryside on an Icelandic horse, a unique and special experience.

Explore the controversial and exciting art installation "Nimis," built by artist Lars Vilks among the cliffs on Kullaberg.

If you want relaxation and peace, Kulla Peninsula offers picturesque beaches and quiet places to enjoy. Bring a picnic basket to one of the secluded beaches and bask in the sun while listening to the waves.

Unwind with a day at the golf course and test your skills at one of the fine clubs around the peninsula.

Explore the beautiful surroundings by cycling while tasting local wines at one of the charming vineyards in the area.

Visit the Höganäs Museum.KKAM (Ceramics, Art, Studio, and Museum) to get insight into the region's history and ceramic heritage.

Explore the creative art center "Blå Hallen," which hosts exciting exhibitions and events year-round.

Visit the historical area "Salthallarna" in Höganäs, the old ceramics factory of Höganäs Saltglaserars, which employed over 100 people in the past. Today, a single ceramic artist handcrafts the salt-glazed stoneware.

Take a guided city walk to learn more about the area's interesting sites and stories.

Explore the various pottery workshops and witness skilled craftsmen at work.

For food enthusiasts, there is much to discover on the Kulla Peninsula, which boasts many producers and actors with great love for food and drink. There is a vibrant culinary scene with several year-round gems like Höganäs Bryggeri, Barbara, Grand Hotel, and Mölle Krukmakeri "Krukan," which are open from breakfast until late in the evening – every day of the year.

 

During the summer season, numerous farm shops open up, allowing you to buy vegetables, flowers, and meat directly from the farmers.
